Further details emerged in late July, confirming the September 2026 launch at IFA and revealing a tiered pricing structure for the European market: €799 for the 128 GB model, €899 for 256 GB and €1,099 for 512 GB, with Samsung executives attributing the increase to rising memory-component costs. In early August, leaked renders showed the S26 FE in three finishes—black, aqua-green and a blue-purple shade—and confirmed the flat-frame design with a pill-shaped rear camera island and slightly thicker lower bezels. The device retains the Exynos 2500 SoC, 8 GB RAM, a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel (120 Hz, up to 1,900 nits), 45 W wired fast charging, optional 15 W wireless charging, Wi-Fi 6/8 via a Qualcomm FastConnect chip, NFC and runs Android 17 with One UI 9. In mid-August, leaks suggested the device may offer a 12GB LPDDR5X RAM option alongside the 8GB configuration. The camera system is expected to feature a 50MP main sensor with optical stabilization, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, plus a 12MP front camera. Newer reports in August refine the technical outlook, suggesting the phone will utilize a 4,900mAh silicon-carbon battery capable of supporting up to 50 hours of battery life. The device is also expected to feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and may support 8K video recording. Color rumors have expanded to include Graphite, Pistachio, and Blueberry. Recent leaks reinforce the expected early September 2026 launch and a slim 7.4mm profile. However, recent technical discussions regarding the 4,900mAh silicon-carbon battery suggest that while the technology is new, it may not increase total capacity compared to previous models.
