Samsung is expanding the content library for its ad-supported streaming service, Samsung TV Plus, across multiple international markets. In India, the platform reached 200 channels through a partnership with NH Studioz, which introduced Aashirwad TV for Hindi entertainment and mythological programming, and Thalaivar Hits for Tamil cinema. In Spain, the service added five new channels covering comedy, anime, children’s programming, and crime fiction. Meanwhile, in the United States, the platform has updated its catalog to highlight various film genres, including horror, action, and romantic comedies. In Brazil, the broadcaster TVT has joined the Samsung TV Plus lineup on channel 2047. TVT president Maurício Junior described the addition of TVT News as a “strategic step to increase access to journalism focused on democracy, social rights, and the working class,” noting that the FAST channel allows viewers to access 24-hour programming without a subscription or satellite dish.
