San Andrés y Sauces religious and cultural festivals
Overview
The municipality of San Andrés y Sauces scheduled an extensive program of cultural, religious, and sporting activities to celebrate its patron saint festivals in honor of Nuestra Señora de Montserrat from late August through mid-September 2026.
During this period, members of the San Andrés parish conducted a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Peña de Francia to observe the feast of the Virgen de la Peña de Francia. Led by local clergy, the group visited several sacred sites, including the San Andrés, Blanca, and Santiago chapels, participating in prayers, hymns, and a Mass.
