Sangenjaya Music Festival 2026

The third Sangenjaya Music Festival (SMF 2026) is scheduled for November 7, 2026, in the Sangenjaya area of Setagaya, Tokyo. The street-based event is designed to utilize the neighborhood as a stage, incorporating local venues such as NTT Plaza, various live houses, bars, and clubs.

Initial plans indicated the festival would run from 11:00 AM until 5:00 AM the following morning, transitioning from outdoor daytime activities and corporate booths to nighttime programming in sub-venues like FRIENDS bar & lounge.

Subsequent details reveal a genre-less lineup featuring over 70 artists across rock, hip-hop, reggae, house, and DJ music, including performers such as JESSE, Yamarashi, DABO, RUEED, BARK, and OSAMU M. While daytime events will center on outdoor venues like NTT SQUARE, nighttime activities will move to establishments such as DJ BAR Tengu Shokudo. The festival schedule is noted to run from approximately 11:00 AM until 4:00 AM. Although admission is generally free, certain sections may require tickets or a touring wristband for nighttime access.
