Santa Monica assisted‑living homicide

On 26 July 2026 police responded to a 5:21 p.m. emergency call at The Manor, an adult residential facility on Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica, California. Responders found a woman with severe injuries and, despite resuscitation attempts, pronounced her dead at the scene.

Later that evening a 35‑year‑old male suspect was arrested in the 3600 block of Crenshaw Boulevard and booked on suspicion of murder.
