Saudi Arabia has demonstrated growth across diverse economic sectors as part of its Vision 2030 objectives. In the agricultural sector, the nation has maintained its position as the global leader in the value of date exports for four consecutive years, with 2025 export values reaching 1.938 billion riyals. Simultaneously, the cybersecurity market has expanded, growing 10.7% annually to reach SR16.3 billion ($4.35 billion) in 2025. This sector's growth is supported by significant private-sector spending and a workforce of over 22,000 professionals, with women comprising 33% of the field. By 2026, the Kingdom has ranked first globally in the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook’s cybersecurity indicator for three consecutive years. This focus on digital resilience follows a significant shift in consumer behavior, where electronic payments accounted for 85 percent of retail payments in 2025, surpassing the original Vision 2030 target of 70 percent. To further bolster national security, the Ministry of National Guard and the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) have launched a mobile cybersecurity awareness exhibition. Inaugurated by Vice Minister Dr. Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Daoud, the initiative uses interactive pavilions and live simulations to educate personnel on recognizing digital threats and potential security breaches.
