Scientific and cultural events in Poland have focused on public engagement through diverse themes. Initial activities included author meetings in Warsaw discussing consciousness and extraterrestrial life, alongside astronomical discussions in Zławieś Wielka regarding black holes and dark matter. Subsequent regional Regional science festivals, such as the Pomeranian and Wielkopolska Science Nights, expanded public access to laboratories and universities. These events featured lectures on artificial intelligence, clinical diagnostics, physics demonstrations, and workshops in fields like nanotechnology and programming. Recent expansions in public engagement include the fourth Pomeranian Science Night, which focused on the theme of resilience—encompassing health, social, and technological aspects. This event, part of the European Researchers' Night and the Horizon Europe program, involved institutions such as the Gdańsk Medical University and the Gdynia Aquarium, offering lectures on mathematics and the challenges of AI versus nature. In the Lublin region, the 22nd Lublin Science Festival centered on curiosity. The Łukasiewicz – Institute of New Chemical Syntheses conducted workshops at the Puławy Science and Technology Park, providing chemistry experiments for primary school students and technical sessions on catalysts and industrial chemical processes. Additionally, the 15th Night at the Institute of Aviation attracted approximately 45,000 visitors, showcasing unmanned technologies, robotics, rovers, and virtual reality, while providing expert insights into aviation, space exploration, and defense technologies.
