In Trabzon, the AK Party Ortahisar Women's Branch organized the fourth annual ‘Atsan Atılmaz, Satsan Satılır’ (If you throw it, it is not lost; if you sell it, it is sold) program at the historic Avrasya Pazarı. This initiative involves the sale, exchange, and donation of second-hand goods to reintegrate unused items into the economy and reduce waste. Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç attended the event, emphasizing the importance of women's labor and production. He noted that the initiative supports social responsibility projects, referencing previous efforts such as support for children with SMA. Genç also expressed goals to transform the Avrasya Pazarı into a major tourism destination for visitors interested in local products. Ortahisar District Women's Branch President Gülsüm İmamoğlu stated that the project's primary goal is to deliver surplus goods to those in need, thereby strengthening the culture of sharing and solidarity within the community.
