Additionally, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has met with the Governor to request a 10-day parole for Jagtar Singh Hawara, a prisoner serving a life sentence for the 1995 assassination of Beant Singh, citing humanitarian reasons regarding his mother’s health.
