Authorities conducted a raid at Bengaluru’s Parappana Agrahara Central Prison after discovering prohibited items in the barrack of former MP Prajwal Revanna. During the Central Crime Branch (CCB) operation, officials recovered an Android phone, a pen drive, and a charger from Revanna, who is serving a life sentence. Investigators reportedly found between 80 and 90 downloaded pornographic videos, primarily of Indian origin, and images of women in revealing clothing on the device. A SIM card from Andhra Pradesh was allegedly used to bypass prison signal jammers. Following the discovery, Revanna was reportedly moved from a VIP cell to a general cell housing approximately 20 other prisoners. The security breach led to disciplinary actions, including the suspension of Assistant Superintendent ~~Iranna~~ Eeranna Rangapur and a show-cause notice for the prison Superintendent.
