Seoul small business credit guarantee program
Overview
Hana Bank has partnered with Naver, Naver Pay, and the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation to launch a 68.75 billion won credit guarantee program for small business owners and young entrepreneurs in Seoul.
To fund the initiative, Hana Bank and Naver/Naver Pay will contribute 5.5 billion won. The program prioritizes merchants in Seoul’s ‘Moonlight Night Market’ districts, entrepreneurs with less than seven years of business experience, and those using Naver Pay Connect terminals. These priority groups may receive preferential credit limits of up to 130% of existing bounds.
Individual businesses can receive up to 100 million won with a maximum term of five years. The program also integrates with Seoul’s interest subsidy programs to reduce financial burdens. Additionally, Hana Bank and Naver Pay donated 10 million won to the Sangbong Food Alley Merchants Association for local marketing and commercial environment improvements.
