Separation of Lourdes Sánchez and Pablo Prada

Overview

Argentine dancer Lourdes Sánchez and producer Pablo ‘Chato’ Prada have ended their 16-year relationship and partnership. Initial reports suggested the separation was precipitated by alleged infidelity involving Sánchez and a 27-year-old businessman, Francisco Liotta Hernández. Journalist Ángel de Brito reported the breakup was conflictive, alleging that Prada was unable to forgive an infidelity. While Sánchez addressed rumors regarding a potential relationship with Liotta Hernández, she declined to confirm a romantic link, stating that the matter is between the primary parties involved. Sánchez characterized the end of the relationship as a long-term ‘agony’ and expressed sadness regarding the impact on their 10-year-old son, Valentín. She stated she ‘no longer wanted that life’ and emphasized her desire to maintain a peaceful co-parenting dynamic. The separation has complicated family logistics. Sánchez has been living in Corrientes due to her role as Director of the Teatro Vera. She expressed a desire for Valentín to live with her in Corrientes, but noted that Prada currently does not agree to this arrangement, necessitating her weekly travel between cities. Sánchez has since provided details regarding her relationship with Fran Liotta, a rugby player and hotel entrepreneur from Corrientes. She revealed that their connection began following a traffic incident in May 2026, during which her vehicle was impounded after a breathalyzer test. While she lacked transportation for two months, she met Liotta while he was showing her an apartment for rent, which she occupied temporarily. Sánchez has since confirmed her new relationship with Liotta. Following reports that the Corrientes government requested she maintain a lower public profile due to her role as a public official, Sánchez defended her right to a personal life, stating, ‘Love should not be punished.’ Sánchez and Liotta have since made their first public appearance together in Buenos Aires.
