In early July, several participants of Serbia’s reality series Elite filed lawsuits following on‑air disputes, signaling a legal escalation of the program’s internal conflicts. By the end of the month, the focus had shifted to post‑show developments: former contestants discussed upcoming season line‑ups, personal relationships, family criticism, academic achievements of relatives, pregnancies, and on‑air confrontations with the host. The narrative moved from courtroom actions to a broader mix of career plans and personal milestones among the same group of reality‑TV personalities. At the end of July, former contestant Asmin Durdžić was involved in a heated clash on the live talk show “Narod pita” after his mother entered the studio and the host pressed him about his private life. Durdžić denied rumours of a romantic link with fellow participant Anđela Đuričić and announced on Instagram that he would no longer appear on television guest programmes, warning that continued refusals could trigger contractual penalties under the “Elite 9” agreement. The incident added another layer of tension between Elite alumni and Serbian broadcasters.
