Governor-elect Sergio Moro has begun forming his administration for the state of Paraná. In October 2026, Moro announced economist Pricilla Maria Santana as the future Finance Secretary, a role she is expected to assume in January 2027. Santana previously served as the Finance Secretary for Rio Grande do Sul and has experience with the Brazilian National Treasury. Shortly after, Moro appointed Aparecida de Fátima Gavioli as the State Secretary of Education. Gavioli, a native of Goioerê, Paraná, ~~currently serves as~~ will succeed Roni Miranda, who has been named the ~~Secretary of~~ new Education Secretary for ~~Goiás and~~ Rio Grande do Sul. Gavioli is expected to officially assume her new role in January 2027. To facilitate the transition, Gavioli will remain in ~~that~~ her current position as the Secretary of Education for Goiás under Governor Daniel Vilela until December ~~2026 to facilitate a transition.~~ 2026. She brings extensive administrative experience, having previously led the education departments in Rondônia (2014–2016) and Goiás (2019–2026). During her tenure in Goiás, the state's high school Ideb score rose from 3.9 in 2017 to 5.0 in 2025. Her academic background includes degrees in Letters, Law, and Pedagogy, a master's in Education, and a doctorate in Educational Psychology. ~~Gavioli's appointment follows the departure of the current Paraná Education Secretary, Roni Miranda, who has been named the new Education Secretary for Rio Grande do Sul.~~
