Sassuolo Femminile advanced to the Serie A Women’s Cup semifinals following a 1-0 victory over Roma, with a goal from Lana Clelland. This win, following a previous victory against Fiorentina, secured the team six points in the competition. In their final group stage match, Sassuolo Women secured a 2-0 victory against Ternana Women to ensure progression to the semifinals. The match was decided in the first half by goals from Galabadaarachchi in the 9th minute and Palakovics in the 33rd minute. Despite playing the final fifteen minutes with a numerical advantage following a red card for Ternana’s Azzena, Ternana was unable to equalize. Sassuolo finishes the group stage with a perfect record. Alongside Sassuolo, Juventus Women have also advanced to the semifinals following their match against Milan. Organizers have selected the Stadio Torquato Bresciani in Viareggio to host the tournament final on September 19. The remaining semifinalists are to be determined through matches on September 12 and 13, with pairings to be decided via a live draw on September 7. To support the final, a ‘Hero Park’ fan village will be held in Piazza Belvedere delle Maschere.
