SESI institutional and educational activities in Brazil
Overview
The National Department of Social Service of Industry (SESI) has engaged in various commemorative and educational activities across Brazil.
To mark its 80th anniversary, the SESI Museu Digital in Campina Grande hosted the exhibition ‘A Engrenagem do Verso: Memória e Ritmo no Coração da Indústria’. The event, which ran through September 20, utilized photographic panels, historical objects, and mini-documentaries to trace the institution’s history since 1946. The celebration also integrated Northeastern Brazilian culture through workshops in cities such as João Pessoa, Campina Grande, Patos, and Sousa.
Simultaneously, SESI educational institutions held scientific and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) exhibitions. In Piauí, the 5th Scientific Exhibition took place in Teresina, Picos, and Parnaíba, focusing on “Science, Innovation, and Sustainability” as a qualifier for a state-level competition. In Videira, Escola Sesi hosted a community event showcasing student projects involving robotics, 3D printing, and hands-on learning.
