Setasc-MT public service initiatives in Mato Grosso

The Mato Grosso State Secretariat for Social Assistance and Citizenship (Setasc-MT) has implemented various public service initiatives in the Cuiabá and Várzea Grande regions.

In mid-October 2026, Setasc-MT hosted ‘Citizenship Day – Setasc 2026’ in Cuiabá. This event provided a wide range of services, including document issuance, legal assistance, debt renegotiation, and information on housing programs, through the participation of various public and private institutions.

Following this, the secretariat announced the October schedule for the ‘Van Rosa’ mobile unit, a component of the SER Família Mulher Program. This initiative focuses on the prevention and combat of domestic and family violence by providing information, psychosocial support, and guidance to victims across multiple locations in Cuiabá and Várzea Grande.

Between October 19 and 22, the ‘Van Rosa’ unit scheduled visits to four Ganha Tempo locations in Cuiabá and three health units in Várzea Grande to provide individual psychosocial assistance and information regarding housing assistance for women victims of violence.

In late October, Setasc-MT expanded its outreach by opening registration for a draw to provide free access to the ‘Camarote dos Autistas’ (Autistic Box) at Arena Pantanal. Ten individuals holding an Autistic Identification Card—a free document issued via the MT Cidadão app—will be selected to attend the match between Cuiabá Esporte Clube and São Bernardo Futebol Clube. Winners are entitled to two companions and must complete a FacePass registration to access the arena.
