Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi continues to participate in the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ and ‘Seva Yatra’ initiatives, which commemorate 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service. In the Mahemdavad taluka of Kheda district, Sanghavi engaged in a special interaction programme with members of the Women Milk Producers’ Cooperative Society and local villagers. As part of the Seva Yatra, the Deputy Chief Minister traveled from Gandhinagar to the venue by motorcycle alongside young workers. During his address, Sanghavi highlighted government schemes such as PM Awas Yojana, ‘Izzat Ghar’, and Kisan Samman Nidhi, while noting improvements in rural electricity and irrigation. The broader Seva Yatra initiative includes cleanliness activities and services for cowsheds and old-age homes, with participants traveling over 2,200 kilometres to Kashi. The campaign has also expanded to include large-scale youth engagement through the ‘My Dream India’ competitions. Held across nearly 39,000 schools in Gujarat, approximately 5.53 million students participated in drawing competitions and 1.1 million took part in speech competitions. These events encouraged students to express visions for India’s future, focusing on themes such as self-reliance, modern technology, education, women’s empowerment, and environmental sustainability.
