Sevilla FC is preparing for its LaLiga EA Sports campaign following an international break. Early reports indicate a rise in fan engagement, with average attendance at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium increasing by nearly 2% compared to the previous season. As the team prepares for an upcoming match against Levante UD at the Ciutat de València, manager Luis García Plaza is managing squad availability. While players such as Rubén Vargas and Chidera Ejuke have returned to the squad, Lucas Stassin remains sidelined with an adductor injury. Stassin has recently gained social media attention following a viral post comparing his hyperbaric recovery chamber to a device from ‘Dragon Ball Z’. Following a recent defeat against FC Barcelona, the club is looking to restore winning momentum, with Kike Salas expected to return to the lineup after recovering from a knee issue. Regarding the fixture at Estadi Ciutat de València, Sevilla currently holds 5th position in the standings with 13 points, maintaining an unbeaten record in away matches this season. Levante UD sits in 17th place with 5 points, seeking to avoid the relegation zone after a period of inconsistent form. Levante coach Luís Castro described Sevilla as an “aggressive and efficient side” that is particularly strong during away matches. In terms of tactical preparations, García Plaza aims to maintain a 4-2-3-1 formation.
