Investigators from the Squadra Mobile are examining whether the victim was drugged with a substance such as a ‘date rape pill’ to induce amnesia. The suspect, who was staying in the same hotel as the victim’s group, has been identified and questioned. He has denied all allegations of violence, though authorities have seized his mobile phone and personal belongings. Additionally, a 26-year-old man was arrested in Castellammare di Stabia for the kidnapping and sexual assault of a 22-year-old woman.
