Political tension has emerged regarding the potential 2027 presidential ambitions of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde. Amidst these developments, Governor Makinde has proposed restructuring domestic crude pricing to reduce petrol costs without reinstating subsidies. Meanwhile, political shifts continue in Oyo State as members of the APM defect to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
