Sheyla Rojas and Joaquín Ramírez relationship

Influencer and model Sheyla Rojas has publicly confirmed her romantic relationship with Joaquín Ramírez, a politician running for the Regional Government of Cajamarca.

The relationship gained public attention following a reunion in Cajamarca. While Ramírez initially provided reserved responses to the press, describing their connection as progressing ‘little by little’, the matter became a subject of media debate.

Following criticism regarding his distant attitude, Ramírez addressed the situation on social media, posting a message to Rojas stating, ‘Thank you my love for trusting in me, Sheyla Rojas, for supporting me always, more united than ever.’ Rojas has since expressed her happiness publicly, stating, ‘We are boyfriend and girlfriend. And well, I am super happy,’ while voicing support for Ramírez’s political ambitions.

The relationship has since moved into a more public phase. During a recent campaign event in Cajamarca, the pair were captured on video kissing and embracing in front of attendees.

This visibility has drawn scrutiny from media personalities such as Magaly Medina, who questioned if the romance is a strategic attempt to leverage Rojas’s media influence for Ramírez’s political campaign. Rojas has defended the authenticity of the bond, stating that Ramírez demonstrates his affection through his actions. Ramírez recently addressed the romance more directly during a campaign event, stating, ‘Nosotros estamos porque nos queremos’ (We are together because we love each other).

Conflict with media personality Magaly Medina has intensified. Rojas recently contacted Medina via WhatsApp to express discomfort after Medina referred to her as ‘migajera’ (scavenger/someone settling for crumbs) during a broadcast. Rojas clarified that her relationship with Ramírez is based on mutual feelings rather than a contractual arrangement. Medina subsequently revealed these private messages on her program, ‘Magaly TV La Firme’, maintaining her skepticism regarding the nature of the relationship.
