Various companies have announced limited edition luxury goods collaborations featuring Los Angeles Dodgers player Shohei Ohtani. In late September, Seiko Watch announced the ‘Shohei Ohtani Model’ (HAB012J) as part of its Seiko Astron Nexter series. The titanium GPS solar quartz watch, scheduled for a November 7 release in Japan, incorporates Los Angeles Dodgers colors and features Ohtani’s jersey number, ‘17’, on a sub-dial. The product includes a signature-engraved case back and a two-tone silicone strap. Following this, jewelry company Imayo announced the ‘SHOHEI OHTANI OFFICIAL K18/Pt900 DIAMOND SAPPHIRE RING’. This MLB-certified piece uses 17 diamonds and 17 sapphires to honor Ohtani’s jersey number. The ring, which features the Dodgers logo and Ohtani’s signature, is available for pre-order starting October 5 with a limited production of 170 units. Expanding its jewelry offerings, Imayo has launched the ‘SHOHEI OHTANI OFFICIAL JEWELRY EDIT BY IMAYO’. This collection features premium K18 gold and diamond pieces, such as pins and a coin pendant designed to commemorate career milestones like Ohtani’s 300th MLB home run. The pendant includes a seam pattern inspired by a four-seam fastball and Ohtani’s signature on the reverse. These MLB-officially licensed items include authentication hologram stickers. A special limited edition package containing the pendant and pins is available for the first 170 customers in Japan, with the K18 coin diamond pendant priced at 1,298,000 yen.
