The Sinop municipal government has progressed with continues its planning for the 2027 Annual Budget Law (PLOA), which projects a consolidated revenue of R$ 1.6 billion. Following a public hearing to present the proposal, the administration confirmed that R$ 1.4 billion is designated for the municipal budget, with health and education remaining the primary investment priorities. The biorefinery Inpasa donated 20 mattresses to the Casa de Passagem to assist vulnerable families and individuals experiencing homelessness. Furthermore, to mark the city’s 52nd anniversary, the Academia Sinopense de Ciências e Letras launched the third edition of the book ‘Sinop e Minhas Memórias’, showcasing works by local students and teachers. Infrastructure and economic development also remain central to the administration’s agenda. Officials continue to evaluate new technologies and machinery for urban maintenance following participation in the Paving Conference in São Paulo. Simultaneously, the city is working to strengthen its tourism sector through structured public policies focused on nature, gastronomy, and business tourism.
