The Slovak Ice Hockey Federation (SZĽH) announced the induction of Craig Ramsay and Michal Handzuš into the Slovak Hockey Hall of Fame. Craig Ramsay, the former Canadian head coach of the Slovak national team from 2017 to 2025, is recognized for leading the team to an Olympic medal and achieving 90 victories. Michal Handzuš, a former forward, is honored for his career as a Stanley Cup winner and multiple World Championship medalist. Commentator Richard Weinfortner noted that Ramsay’s leadership helped the national team compete effectively against Košice, celebrating major hockey powers such as Canada, Finland, individual achievements and Sweden.
