Slovenian winter athletes have transitioned from summer training preparations to early competitive results in the summer season. Initially, alpine skiers and ski jumpers focused on intensive training camps to prepare for upcoming seasons. Alpine skiers Žan Kranjec and Neja Dvornik completed summer training, with Dvornik expressing optimism following an ankle injury. As the competitive season commenced, Slovenian ski jumpers achieved podium success at the Intercontinental Cup in Stams, Austria. Nika Vodan and Nika Prevc secured second and third places, respectively, in the first summer competition of the event. This strong performance continued in Stams, where Vodan and Prevc finished second and third in both the Saturday and Sunday competitions, with Prevc recording the longest jump of the first round on Sunday. In the men’s division in Stams, Domen Prevc achieved a notable comeback, setting a new hill record with a 121.5-meter jump in the second round to finish 17th overall. Meanwhile, in the FIS Ski Jumping Summer Grand Prix, Ema Klinec reclaimed the overall lead after a fourth-place finish in Rasnov, Romania. Other Slovenian men, including Enej Faletič and Žiga Jančar, also earned points during the Rasnov events.
