Smart security camera industry sales promotions

Leading security camera brands are offering significant discounts on smart surveillance systems in anticipation of or during the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days.

Initial reports highlighted a substantial price reduction for the Blink Video Doorbell System in Australia, where it dropped to AU$27.99. While the hardware is discounted, features such as cloud storage and advanced detection require monthly subscriptions.

Subsequent reports expanded the scope of promotions to include other manufacturers. Reolink introduced discounts of up to 30% on various systems, including the OMVI 3i, which features an 18 MP triple panoramic lens and allows for local video searching without a subscription.

Recent updates confirm deep discounts on Blink products through Amazon. A bundle containing the Blink Outdoor 4 and the Blink Mini 2K+ is priced at €24.99, an 80% reduction from its original €124.98 price point. The Blink Mini 2K+ offers 2K resolution, four times zoom, and color night vision, though advanced AI detection for people and vehicles necessitates a subscription.

Other Blink deals include the solar-powered Blink Solaris 2K+, discounted to €47.99 from €119.99, and a pack of two certified refurbished Blink Outdoor cameras priced at $79.99, approximately 50% off the retail price. The Outdoor 4 model remains a wireless option utilizing AA lithium batteries with up to two years of autonomy.
