SNCF winter 2026–27 ticket sales

Overview

SNCF has officially opened ticket sales for the 2026 Christmas and New Year holiday period. For TGV INOUI and Intercités services, reservations now cover travel from December 13, 2026, through January 6, 2027. The low-cost OUIGO service offers extended availability through July 2, 2027, and will resume a daily Paris-Nancy route starting December 13.

International connections to destinations including Luxembourg, Brussels, Freiburg, Italy, and Spain are included in this launch. To manage high seasonal demand, SNCF is increasing capacity by providing 36,000 additional weekly seats for TGV INOUI services traveling to the Christmas markets in Strasbourg and Colmar, alongside 300,000 extra seats for travel to the Alps.

Travelers are encouraged to book early to secure better availability and pricing. Reports indicate that waiting until the week of departure can increase costs by up to 30% on certain routes.
