Economic development initiatives in South America continue to focus on entrepreneurship training and regional growth support. In Chile, the hazelnut industry has emerged as a major global supplier through increased mechanization. In Tierra del Fuego, the ‘Crecer con Identidad’ program has progressed to its second training module in Río Grande, focusing on circular economy and sustainable practices. Newer municipal efforts include the conclusion of the fifth Diseña Paraná program, which trained over 100 entrepreneurs in digital marketing, and the reopening of the Cocina de Emprendedores in San Fernando. In Misiones, the Ministry of Social Development, Women, and Youth is launching a new session of the ‘Desayuno Emprendedor’ program.
