South Korean actors Song Joong-ki and Son Ye-jin have recently drawn public attention through various social media updates. Song Joong-ki was observed interacting with fans abroad, during which a passerby’s comment regarding his ex-wife, Song Hye-kyo, caused a momentary visible reaction. While he appeared briefly uncomfortable, he regained his composure to continue the encounter. Son Ye-jin has shared updates regarding her travels and family life. Following posts from a trip to Yokohama, Japan, which drew mixed reactions from netizens concerning her casual attire, she shared photos of a home-cooked meal. These recent images included subtle glimpses of her son, prompting further engagement from fans. In a recent series of posts, Son Ye-jin shared photos of various home-cooked dishes prepared for her family, including seaweed soup, beef and radish soup, steamed eggs, stir-fried squid, grilled hairtail, and kimbap. While many fans praised her focus on nutritious meals, some online commenters criticized the plating and appearance of the food, specifically noting that the kimbap “lacked refinement.” Social media users also identified a reflection of her son, Kim Woo Jin, in a spoon within the photos. The child, born in November 2022, is rarely shown directly, though Son Ye-jin has previously noted he possesses her “smiling eyes” and his father’s dimples.
