Cricket development in Southern Africa continues through regional competitions and historic series. The Namibia T20I Tri-Series 2026, featuring South Africa, Namibia, and Zimbabwe, utilized a double-round-robin format where the top two teams advanced to a final on September 6. During the match, Brevis tied with JP Duminy as the joint fourth-highest six-hitter for South Africa in T20Is. Zimbabwe fell to 81/8 before a ninth-wicket partnership between Brad Evans and Kundai Matigimu brought the total to 157.
