Following coordinated disturbances at 51 locations across Thailand’s three southern border provinces on the night of August 22, authorities have implemented high-level security measures. While no group has officially claimed responsibility, the attacks are widely attributed to the Barisan Revolusi Nasional Melayu Patani (BRN).
