Spanish athletes compete at European Athletics Championships

Spain concluded the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham with a total of eight medals: two golds, two silvers, and four bronzes. Following the championships, the Spanish athletics delegation has expanded its team for the upcoming World Athletics Road Running Championships in Copenhagen. Mohamed Attaoui and Martín Segurola will compete in the men's mile, while Marta García will make her road racing debut in the women's 5,000 meters. They join a half-marathon squad featuring Said Mechaal, Marta Galimany, and Carla Gallardo.
