A study conducted for Asempleo indicates that temporary contracts are a “structural part” of the economy, particularly for low-skilled workers. Approximately 23.4% of individuals with low educational levels begin their employment via temporary contracts, a rate significantly higher than the 14% seen among university graduates. The study also notes a strong correlation between education and unemployment, with those with primary education or less facing a 21.8% unemployment rate.
