Spanish-language thriller productions on streaming platforms

Overview

Streaming services are expanding their Spanish-language thriller catalogs through new original productions.

In late September, HBO Max announced a drama series inspired by the story of Tor, a remote mountain community involving unsolved tragic events. The project is written by Goya Award winners Fran Araújo and Eduard Sola.

By late October, further developments were reported regarding upcoming releases. HBO Max released a trailer for ‘Infamia’, a six-episode series based on a novel by Ledicia Costas concerning a twenty-year-old disappearance.
