Abanca Ademar secured its first Asobal season victory with a 33-32 win against Cangas, driven by high scoring from Gonzalo and Juan Castro. Following the match, head coach Luis Puertas expressed concerns regarding the team’s thin squad depth and the potential impact of injuries on their ability to compete for European positions. As the season progresses, Abanca Ademar is preparing for an away fixture against Ciudad Real. The team aims to improve a defense that has conceded 106 goals in three matches, while managing the absence of right back Edu Fernández. Simultaneously, Balonmano Nava is preparing to host Cajasol Sevilla BM Proin, with coach Carlos Villagrán noting team progress despite difficult initial results. In recent developments, the Liga Asobal competition continues with Abanca Ademar traveling to Ciudad Real. Meanwhile, Balonmán Cangas is looking to secure its first points of the season in an upcoming match against Valladolid. In another Liga Asobal fixture, BM Caserío Ciudad Real secured a 35-33 victory over Ademar León.
