Municipalities in Spain are implementing various infrastructure and sustainability projects. In Albacete and San Vicente del Raspeig, local authorities have launched school renovation works focused on climate control, energy efficiency, and the construction of new facilities, such as a gym equipped with solar panels. Expanding on regional sustainability efforts, the Diputación de Albacete has approved 400,000 euros in subsidies for 69 municipalities. These funds support Local Action Plans for Sustainability under the 2030 Agenda, covering initiatives such as environmental recovery, water conservation, and photovoltaic installations. The subsidy structure applies positive discrimination based on population size to assist smaller towns. Other Spanish provincial councils are also allocating significant funds for diverse development. In Badajoz, approximately 555,000 euros have been granted to 194 entities to promote tourism and aquatic environments. In Alicante, over 9.1 million euros are designated for the Alto and Medio Vinalopó regions to cover municipal operating costs and stimulate local consumption. Additionally, the Diputación de Valencia has approved 10.2 million euros for 65 projects across 50 municipalities, targeting improvements to senior centers and sports facilities. Local infrastructure works continue across various towns, including a 300,000 euro paving project in Cifuentes, urban improvements in Los Barrios, and traffic reorganization in Quart de les Valls to enhance mobility and safety.
