Spanish television programs ‘El Hormiguero’ and ‘La revuelta’ returned to prime-time broadcasting on Monday, September 7.

Antena 3’s ‘El Hormiguero’ is entering its 21st season with a Monday-to-Thursday schedule. Following its return, the program has released several guest lineups. For the week of September 14–17, guests included Juan Vivas, President of Ceuta, actor Leo Harlem, Jose Coronado, Martiño Rivas, singer Pablo López, and Julio Iglesias Jr.

For the week of September 21–24, the lineup featured footballer Ferran Torres, actors Julián López and Pepa Charro, the return of Bertín Osborne, and film director Alejandro Amenábar. During his appearance, Torres, a striker for Paris Saint-Germain, discussed the adrenaline of scoring the winning goal in Spain’s World Cup victory, addressed tournament criticism, and spoke about the viral ‘Oh Ferran’ TikTok meme, which led to a meeting with its creator, Rocío Domingo. He also touched upon the challenges of relocating to Paris.

For the week of September 28 to October 1, ‘El Hormiguero’ announced a lineup focused on cinema and music. Actors Susana Abaitua and Maxi Iglesias are scheduled to promote the film ‘Nuda Propiedad’ on Monday. Tuesday’s guests include Victoria Luengo and Hovik Keuchkerian to discuss the series ‘Reina Roja 2: Loba Negra’. The remainder of the week features singer David Bisbal presenting his tribute album ‘Eternos’, and the band Hombres G discussing their new single, ‘Gilipolla’.

TVE’s ‘La revuelta’ also returned with updated production elements and a larger set, maintaining the viewership competition between hosts Pablo Motos and David Broncano.
