In Castilla y León, the Ministry of Education announced 32 positions for education inspectors, an internal promotion opportunity reserved for career teaching staff with at least eight years of service. Additionally, the municipality of Móstoles opened applications for 14 permanent positions in various trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, and roadwork, with a deadline of October 19. New recruitment drives announced in early October include the Tax Agency (Agencia Tributaria), which is seeking 197 workers nationwide, including 62 roles in Madrid, for positions requiring a high school diploma. Furthermore, the National Institute of Health Management (INGESA) released its 2026 Public Employment Offer, comprising 408 permanent positions across more than 70 professional categories. These roles, which include nurses, physiotherapists, and laboratory technicians, are primarily concentrated in Ceuta, Melilla, and the National Dosimetry Center in Valencia. Parallel to these recruitment drives, regional authorities have deployed targeted subsidies. In Castilla-La Mancha, the government allocated 4.9 million euros to facilitate approximately 160 permanent contracts, providing up to 7,500 euros per hire for vulnerable groups. In the province of Cuenca, the Diputación distributed 122,000 euros to 58 self-employed workers and micro-enterprises in Mancha Baja for machinery and operational investments.
