Educational institutions in Spain continue to receive significant investments for infrastructure and climate adaptation. In Castilla-La Mancha, the second phase of construction for the Chillarón de Cuenca school school, part of the ‘Elena Fortún’ Rural Grouped Center (CRA), has commenced. officially launched. This phase involves a 2.9 million euro investment to build four primary education classrooms, a multipurpose room, a dining hall, and a an outdoor sports court, contributing court. Executed by the public company Tragsa, the work is expected to take approximately ten months and will connect a new building to existing facilities. This follows an initial 1.2 million euro investment, bringing the cumulative project cost of to over 4 million euros. The region also continues its ‘Plan E-Clima’ to install air conditioning in over 12,000 classrooms to combat climate change. Other regional developments include a 71 million euro program targeting educational facilities in Barcelona, with specific projects in the Sant Andreu district involving renovations and new headquarters. In Madrid, the regional government has approved 23.4 million euros for the construction of two new special education schools in Móstoles and Villaverde. Additionally, the Diputación de Toledo has allocated 2.9 million euros for the cleaning and maintenance of infant, primary, and rural schools for the 2026-2027 academic year. In Almassora, educational projects totaling 15.5 million euros are underway, including the remodeling of the San José nursery school.
