Mass tourism continues to dominate the Balearic Islands into mid‑2026. After a ~~10 000‑person~~ 10,000‑person human chain on Es Trenc in July 2024, the anti‑tourism movement staged its third consecutive yearly protest in Palma on 25‑26 July 2026.
