Spanish triathlon competition developments

Overview

The Spanish triathlon landscape is seeing significant updates for the 2027 season. In Salou, registrations have opened for the 12th edition of the Challenge Salou – Costa Daurada, set for May 9, 2027. Furthermore, FETRI has launched the Hyatlón Ambar Tour, a new fitness racing circuit that integrates running with functional stations. FETRI President José Hidalgo characterized the circuit as a ‘pioneering project’ that utilizes technology and may eventually evolve into an Olympic discipline.
