A series of speeding vehicle accidents and hit-and-run incidents have been reported in Greater Noida. On September 5, a speeding car struck a pedestrian near Murti Chowk in the Bisrakh police station area, causing severe injuries including spinal and limb fractures. Following the circulation of CCTV footage, police identified and arrested the driver, who was subsequently sent to judicial custody. Recent reports have detailed two additional separate incidents. In the Knowledge Park area near GNIOT College, a speeding car allegedly rammed into four to five people, reportedly sending them into the air upon impact. Witnesses stated the crash occurred while several vehicles were performing stunts. While some victims sustained injuries, including a student with a fractured leg, reports indicate the injuries were not life-threatening. The driver fled the scene immediately. In a separate incident in the Adarsh Vihar Society of Sector Chi-4, a speeding car ran over a young schoolgirl, resulting in a leg fracture. CCTV footage captured the collision, and the Beta 2 police station is currently investigating. Authorities have registered cases for both incidents and are conducting raids to apprehend the drivers involved. Regarding the Knowledge Park collision, police have since seized the vehicle and arrested the suspect, identified as Manish, a resident of Ladpura in Gautam Buddh Nagar. One victim, a student who suffered a fractured leg, has been discharged from the hospital.
