Following the initial showcase of 1/4-scale figures at Wonder Festival 2026, Square Enix has provided further details regarding the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and associated merchandise. The game is confirmed for a spring 2027 release on PC (Steam/Epic), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Director Naoki Hamaguchi noted that the announcement drew significant media interest across North America, Europe, and China, adding that user feedback has influenced gameplay adjustments, such as the ability to skip optional mini-games. Regarding collectibles, the company detailed a 1/4-scale Aerith Gainsborough Master Line statue, available in standard and deluxe versions priced at ¥264,000 and ¥286,000 respectively, with reservations opening on 31 July 2026. New merchandise scheduled for release on 28 November 2026 includes a STATIC ARTS Tifa Lockhart swimsuit figure featuring a seaside-themed ~~base,~~ base with splashing water effects, priced at 29,700 yen.
