St. John's University has hosted two volleyball tournaments at Carnesecca Arena in Queens, New York. In early September, the university held the inaugural Lou Carnesecca Invitational, featuring matchups between St. John's, Rider, UAB, and East Texas A&M. Later in the month, the 12th annual Jack Kaiser Volleyball Classic commenced. St. John's secured opened the tournament with a 3-1 victory over Penn in its opening match, (25-19, 25-18, 18-25, 25-15), marking the team's Red Storm's fifth consecutive win. Notable individual performances during the opening match included Rashanny Solano Smith, who recorded a career-best 41 digs, and Amanda Caputi, who provided 38 assists. The tournament also includes participation from concluded with Rutgers and Penn securing notable victories. Rutgers defeated St. John's in a five-set match (25-27, 25-19, 25-23, 24-26, 15-13) to finish nonconference play. Skylar George and Kenzie Dyrstad were named to the All-Tournament Team, with Dyrstad recording a career-high 23 digs. Additionally, Penn defeated Bryant University and Rutgers. in straight sets (25-20, 25-23, 25-22).
