Star Academy competition developments
Overview
During the Star Academy broadcast on TF1, contestant Elija experienced an emotional breakdown following a duet with guest artist Adèle Castillon. After performing ‘Été avec toi’, Elija expressed feelings of illegitimacy, stating, ‘I feel like I am out of my body and not succeeding in coming back.’
Subsequent tensions emerged at the academy as students prepared for evaluations themed around mentor Vianney. Contestant Antoine faced frustration after a planned duet with Isabella was canceled due to a change in her artistic direction. As students prepare for upcoming nominations, instructors have emphasized the necessity of theatrical staging and emotional delivery alongside vocal performance.
