Throughout 2026, LEGO expanded its portfolio with exclusive and licensed sets, new technology, and global promotional events. Amazon listed retailer-only exclusives including Barad-dûr from The Lord of the Rings, a functional grand piano, and a Project Hail Mary model, while the company highlighted its Book Nook line. Star Wars Day featured free-gift-with-purchase launches and a cosplay parade in Santiago, Chile. Additionally, the Smart Play system entered mass production with sensor-enabled Smart Bricks for Star Wars and Pokémon lines. As part of the 25th anniversary of the Harry Potter theme, LEGO launched a series of Back to Hogwarts 2026 celebrations. This included the release of a 700-piece Mini Hogwarts Castle on August 29, which introduced a new broomstick element. The centerpiece of the anniversary is the 3,491-piece Ministry of Magic Collector’s Edition (76476), priced at approximately $449.99 or €429.99. Scheduled for wide release on September 1, the set features 14 ~~minifigures—including Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Lord Voldemort, Albus Dumbledore, Kingsley Shacklebolt,~~ minifigures and ~~Arabella Figg—and~~ recreates locations such as the Hall of ~~Prophecy,~~ Prophecy and the Ministry subway ~~station, the courtroom, and the offices of Arthur Weasley and Dolores Umbridge.~~ station.
