SteelSeries released the Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 LTD series, a limited-edition lineup of gaming keyboards commemorating the company’s 25th anniversary. The series features two colorways: Cyber and Steel. Technical specifications for the models include OmniPoint 3.0 adjustable HyperMagnetic switches and an industry-first Hall Effect Gen 3 sensor. The Cyber model is optimized for speed with a 35g actuation force, whereas the Steel model is designed for control with a 50g actuation force. Key features include a 0.54ms response time, 40 steps of customizable actuation, and specialized gaming technologies such as Rapid Trigger, Rapid Tap, and Protection Mode. Hardware enhancements focus on sound profiles through per-key lubrication, improved stabilizers, and a triple-layer dampening foam stack. The Apex Pro Gen 3 LTD series is scheduled to be featured at the “TOKYO Gaming-PC STREET 9” event hosted by ASCII on October 10, 2026, at LIFORK AKIHABARA II. This exhibition will allow attendees to test the hardware firsthand alongside other gaming peripherals.
