The Stephen F. Austin women’s soccer season began with a 6-0 victory over Sul Ross State. On September 6, Texas A&M secured a 4-0 shutout victory against Stephen F. Austin at Ellis Field. Following an 18th-minute goal by Bella Carapazza, the Aggies added goals from Ireland Churchill, Finley Lacher, and Trinity Buchanan in the second half. Stephen F. Austin struggled offensively, recording only two shots, though goalkeeper Brandie Musser recorded a career-high seven saves. On September 9, Stephen F. Austin defeated Texas Southern 3-0 at Durley Field. Savanna Oberholtzer scored in the 23rd minute, and Lucie Platt scored twice, including a penalty kick early in the second half. Texas Southern goalkeeper Alicia Audu recorded seven saves during the match. The team is scheduled to face Jackson State for Senior Day in Nacogdoches.
