Streaming platforms continue to release new movies and television series across various global services.

In late August, New Zealand-based releases included the comedy series ‘Urzila’ on Neon, the Netflix documentary ‘Untold Raygun: Breaking Badly’, and the horror series ‘Possession’ on TVNZ+. Prime Video also featured the film ‘Valley Girl'.

By late September, a broader wave of content arrived on platforms such as Disney+, Netflix, Prime Video, Max, and Hulu. Notable titles included the animated film ‘Toy Story 5’ and the final season of ‘Outlander’ on Disney+, the limited series ‘The Crown of Shadows’ on Max, and the action thriller ‘Velocity’ on Netflix.

As of late September 2026, major services including Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video, and Paramount+ have further expanded their libraries. New additions include the ensemble drama ‘All of Us Together’ on Prime Video, the true-crime docuseries ‘Wild Circuit’ on Hulu, and the second season of ‘Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars’ on Apple TV+. Other highlighted programming includes the 51st season of ‘Survivor’ on Paramount+ and the 13th season of ‘American Horror Story’ on FX.
